Local graphic design studio Vincent Design and web experts Dewar Green are raising funds for Team Ben Hammond by doing a 5k Elfy Run in and around Tenterden.
The three-strong team, Rosalind Dewar, Tim Green and Nick Vincent who collaborate on projects for businesses in the area (including the recent Ashford Snowdogs project), will be setting out on their Elf Run on Saturday 8 December.
They are donating money they would have spent on Christmas gifts and cards to the heart screening fund, which was set up in memory of local teenager Ben Hammond, who died from an undiagnosed heart condition in July 2016.
Designer Nick, who mapped the elf-shaped route (see pics below), said: “All three of us are quite keen runners and wanted to do something a bit different to mark the festive season. An Elf Run seemed like the perfect idea, getting us fit and healthy in time for the Christmas break while raising funds for Team Ben Hammond.”
The run will start at 12.00 from the Dewar Green office at The Butchery in St Michaels.
